Dave Kilgore-Actor Bio Dave Kilgore has been in acting most of his life. On stage from first grade, four years of high school drama classes and one year of drama directing, and taking lead and supporting roles through high school, he’s pursued the performing arts ever since. He performed as a full time professional pianist for twenty years, and then went on to film. His recent education includes two years of film actor training at the Dramatic Arts Studio in Michigan, and he spent some time as an assistant teacher there. He also took classes in improv, voice over and production. Dave has had extensive time on set in the past five years, including lead and supporting roles in dozens of independent short films and the feature film Mary’s Buttons. On top of that, he has appeared with speaking roles in three television commercials, a dozen internet commercials and done voice over work. A composer for film and stage, Dave continues working in nearly every area of the film industry. His goals include furthering his career in acting, writing, composing and filmmaking. Dave is well known by the Michigan acting community, and is defined not only by his talent and professional abilities as an actor, but also by his strong work ethic, dedication to every project, creative flexibility and ability to take direction. |
